Mumford

I wanted to make a sign for my bedroom... and I had this piece of Plywood handy: 

My room is going to be yellow and gray, so I started off painting it a very light gray... 

I then used newspaper to take off some of the paint. 

I continued adding paint, wiping it off with newspaper, and adding paint again until I had the look I was going for. Something like this: 

I then bought a 3" stencil of Curvy Letters and painted in Yellow the words below. To add some definition to the sign, I painted the words "Love" and "Life" in gray, and used 5" wooden letters so they stood out more... 

The quote comes from a Mumford & Son's song that I love! 

Yay for cheap decorations!
