The letter "A"

One day on Pinterest I stumbled across this adorable letter:

I fell in love with this idea! They are very reasonably priced on this shop ($35), but I decided that I wanted to make my own. So, I bought a letter "A" at Jo-Ann Fabrics (using my 40% off coupon), painted it red, and started the hunt for broaches at thrift stores, consignment shops, and antique stores. 

This is my final product: 

I will likely add on some smaller pieces in between, but overall I'm really happy with how it turned out! I'm planning on hanging this in my hallway for now :).
